About Chef:
Hello, I’m Denis, a professional chef with over 20 years of culinary experience. My journey began in Lithuania, where I finished a chef confectioner course during my culinary education, and it continued in Ireland, where I furthered my career and established my own catering business.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of catering for a good number of private dinners and parties, offering both full-service catering and self-service options. My menus draw inspiration from the innovative and delectable dishes I mastered while working at renowned establishments in Dublin, including the Hilton, Conrad, and Shelbourne 5-star hotels, as well as various bistros and gastro bars.
I take pride in sourcing food from local providers, prioritising organic and wild-caught ingredients. To me, the quest for the finest ingredients is key to crafting beautifully presented, restaurant-quality dishes that are both healthy and delicious. My culinary style is influenced by European, Spanish, Italian, French, and healthy cuisines.
Whether it’s a formal dinner party, a casual family gathering, a barbecue, or a buffet, I’m committed to delivering exceptional cuisine. I also offer meal prep delivery services, catering to your specific preferences using either my menu or yours.

Chef Denis delivered something far beyond standard event catering at FAN FLAME Writing Retreat.
Across five days, every meal was thoughtfully designed, consistently executed, and perfectly aligned with the rhythm of an intensive writing retreat. The menu struck an impressive balance between comfort and quality; from slow-cooked beef stews and baked cod to vibrant Mediterranean vegetarian dishes and flavourful dals, each meal felt intentional rather than routine.
What stood out most was the consistency. Breakfasts were generous and energising, lunches were light yet satisfying, and dinners were genuinely something to look forward to after long writing sessions. Even the smaller details like the lemon drizzle cake, almond biscotti, savoury scones, were handled with care and precision, elevating simple refreshments into memorable moments.
The vegetarian options were not treated as an afterthought; they were equally creative, well-balanced, and full of flavour. That level of attention makes a significant difference in a mixed group setting.
Beyond the food itself, the service was seamless. Timing, presentation, and adaptability were all handled effortlessly, which allowed the programme to run without interruption.
In short, this was not just catering, it was a key part of the experience. Chef Denis created an environment where people could focus, recharge, and come back to their work better.
